Therapy for pregnancy and the first year

A private hour for you.

I'm Olivia Lebow, LCSW, a postpartum therapist, mom, and founder of LA New Mamas. I see clients in Los Angeles and virtually across California.

Why I started LA New Mamas

I built what I needed as a new mom.

Before motherhood, I thought I understood it. Then I lived the questions, identity shifts, and loneliness that can happen while you are rarely alone.

I started LA New Mamas to create what I needed: a place to meet other moms, build real friendships, and share useful support.

I was a therapist before I became a mom. Motherhood taught me what no textbook could. Community can hold a lot, but some things need a private room. That is why my practice focuses on pregnancy and the first year after birth.

No mom should have to figure all of this out alone.

Why the first year

Support should not end when check-ins fade.

After the fourth trimester, check-ins and help often fade. Anxiety and other perinatal mental-health concerns can still appear during the first year. It is never too late to ask for support.
